the addition of a new slang word/phrase within a community's vernacular that results in everybody using it after a short period of time

Shmurda'd
Getting Shmurda'd is when a musician gets arrested for dropping music with lyrics describing in detail real crimes they have committed (or plan to), to the point where it's an official confession of guilt to the authorities; popularized (unfortunately) in Early 2015 when artist Bobby Shmurda was arrested for "conspiracy to commit murder, weapons possession and reckless endangerment" fron his song "Hot N*gga"
