Hand

The amount of control possessed by each person in a romantic relationship. Short for 'the upper hand', it is a lighthearted way of describing the shift of control in a relationship, based on the assumption that one person tends to have the upper hand over the other.

Coined in Seinfeld episode "The Pez Dispenser"

George: No everything is *not* going good. I'm very uncomfortable. I have no power. I mean, why should she have the upper hand. *Once* in my life I would like the upper hand. I have no hand-- no hand at all. She has the hand; I have *no* hand...

How do I get the hand?

doomgloom

adjective: pessimistic in a melodramatic or exaggerated manner; as if doomsday will result from the current problem at hand.

Heather was doomgloom over her recent breakup; she acted as if it were the end of the world.

A combination of the words "especially' and "versatile", which means that something is not only exceptional, but is exceptional over a wide range of subjects.

"I hate them, espversatecially when they come up as you are posting a conversation and/or you are talking to your friends or doing something else important."

Verb or Emoticon: an emoticon representing tragic sadness, as in the melodramatic sobbing and crying of an "Emo" in the midst of a quazi-crisis.
