Comcast

A company almost as bad as Verizon. Crappy service, inflated prices, and someone tell me, what's the deal with them giving you remotes that say "Adelphia" and "RCA" and "Cablevision" on them? Can't they afford to brand their own remotes?

Some people confuse Verizon with Comcast because both of their logos are red and black.

It automatically downloads "critical updates" to fix security holes found almost daily in Internet Explorer and in other parts of the operating system, then it harasses you to restart your computer. If you click "Restart Later" the box will pop back up in about five minutes.

Bell Atlantic

Used to be a cable provider, until a merger with GTE changed its name (and quality of service) to Verizon. In the good old days before snobby representatives, disappointing service, and high prices, Bell Atlantic not only had a cool name, but was awesome.
