Another word for going to bed. Used in England by children and parents. There is a county there of the same name.

Child: "Yawn"
Parent: "Off to Bedfordshire with you!"

Also used in Bridget Jones' Diary, Bridget to her Father.
"'Night Dad, I'm off to Bedfordshire".

5 Sleeps until my birthday. Meaning that there are 5 days until your birthday ( Taking into account the fact that most people sleep every night).
