The best internet chat site. In 1999 it was bought by Infoseak.com, and then that was bought by the evil Go.com. The Go network promptly closed WBS. Now it has been resurected under new ownership, but is just message boards, not chat.

1. An incident in New Mexico in 1947 that was supposedly wreckage from a crashed flying saucer. Later explained by the government to be a weather balloon, the Roswell incident has become a holy grail of sorts for conspiracy theories and ufologists. In the 70s, "evidence" surfaced that there were bodies recovered, even though witnesses to the original incident made no mention of bodies.

An awsome athletic sport, played by two or four people, the object being to hit a ball, with a raquet, over a net and into the opponent's side of the court. Courts can be made of anything, but are usually classefied as hard, grass, or clay.
The US Open, which is a two week long tennis tournament, is the world's largest sporting event, in terms of attendence.

The scandal in which liberal-biased CBS newsanchor Dan Rather aired on his 60 Minutes program documents that supposedly showed that George W. Bush received favorable treatment during his service as a national guardsman. The documents were later shown to be false. As a result, Rather's career has gone down the toilet, and he is resigning and stepping down from CBS Nightly News, effective as of March 2005.

A perversion of the word hunkie, which refers to a Hungarian. Later it was taken to mean any eastern European (non-Jewish), and now an offencive term for a white person.
