cuckooing

(verb) A crime where a drug dealer befriends a weak, old or otherwise vulnerable person, then takes over their home and uses it as a crack house.
"Cuckooing is a new type of crime which involves a drug dealer befriending a vulnerable individual who lives on their own.

Like a cuckoo, the dealer moves in, takes over the property, and turns it into a drugs' den."

devilkin

Type of monster in the Diablo computer game, which is red and looks like a skeleton but is more powerful. Kind of a demon skeleton. (There's also a blue version, called a Slayer).
My character managed to battle his way out after being surrounded by six devilkin, but only by using his last magic scrolls.

Eglarest

Fortress in the Falas region of Beleriand, mentioned in Tolkien's book The Silmarillion. Like Vinyamar, it was ruled by Cirdan and populated by Teleri, until it became a haven for elves fleeing other parts of Beleriand as Morgoth's forces overran it after the Nirnaeth Arnoediad. It was eventually broken and sacked by Morgoth's forces, and the surviving elves fled to Balar.
It is located on the western coast.

Action Master

A type of TransFormer which does not actually transform, but which is instead an action figure with advanced articulation (similar to a GI Joe figure). Half the Action Masters were converted versions of earlier characters, and all look like they should have alternative modes. They also have transforming companions or accessories. They are very controversial among transformers fans, because many feel that they aren't transformers if they don't transform.
Action Master Soundwave, unlike the original Soundwave, could no longer transform into a cassette player; he also could not eject cassettes. He did, however, have a companion, WingThing, which transformed into his weapon.

Casiorn

City-state located to the west of Vassagonia and to the south of Sommerlund and the Wildlands. This city is independent of all surrounding kingdoms and is mainly a trading centre. It is usually first in line when Vassagonia starts getting expansionist.

Part of the Lone Wolf world, it appears substantially only in one of the Legends of Lone Wolf novels, where Lone Wolf briefly passes through the city and notices extremes of wealth and poverty (which is not, incidentally, an accurate depiction of the type of medieval city-state on which Casiorn is modelled).
Casiorn was besieged for many months by the Zakhan's forces.

The capital of Casiorn is... Casiorn.

uruk

large orcs with darker than usual skin and a stronger than usual dislike of the light, according to Tolkien. When I was a kid, I always used to draw the orcs as green and the uruks as black, but since Peter Jackson made them all brown, you can't tell which ones are orcs and which ones are uruks.
Which ones are uruks? I think that one over there might be. Oh hang on, that's a troll, isn't it? Damn it, you can't tell which are which!

Operation Ivy

Best damned punk band known to man. Started in '87 ended in '89. You may have heard of Tim, yea he's in Rancid. Too bad for the singer, he's now in Common Rider.
That song 'Journey to the end of East Bay' by Rancid is about Operation Ivy.
