A short term for "censorship technician" refers to an individual who is responsible for monitoring and restricting the flow of information in a society. The centechs are employed by authoritarian regimes and corporations to control the narrative and suppress dissenting voices.

The centech in the government was working overtime to censor any information that went against their narrative.
