Where you're from originally, where your heart is from, where it started beating.

The guy/girl from Pennsylvania claimed this as his her home too, as much his/her home as the locals, but in reality Pennsylvania would always be home for him/her and this would be somewhere he/she lived as long as he/she lived here. He/she was a guest, a visitor, even if he/she had been here a while or was thinking about staying a while (meaning locals were putting up with his/her bullshit even when they didn't have to).

That guy is the Jordan Belfort of real estate. He's bad, he's sexy, he's intelligent, he's amazing, and he's a hundred percent part of the darkness now. That's the guy I want to meet.

Could be harmless or deadly depending on who made it.

She saw herself as Bridget, the New York City Irish mouse encouraging immigrant mice to fight the cats, when in reality she was closer to the mouse that lived in Jim Jones's church in a small town in Indiana, the mouse that drank his kool aid and encouraged other mice to do the same.

mollycoddle

A kid that has their mother come save them from any pipes they might hit their own head on in life.

The mother of the mollycoddle blamed the daycare (for negligence) or other kids over the mollycoddle hitting her head on a pipe, and wanted everything shut down over it. What about the kid paying attention to what she was doing, hitting your head on a pipe was a good way to make the rest of us a bit more alert. It's the same kind of softening of society thing as a mother or father getting locked up over a kid getting in a fight at school. Kids are supposed to fight, kids are supposed to hit their head on shit. It's the difference between living to age 2 and living past age 2 without assistance.
