Cam Newton

A quarterback that lost his job because he wasn't vaccinated, which is kind of like someone trying to push you out of your job and town for not wearing a mask.
Cam Newton would've been as available and dependable as any other player, with or without a vaccine. Not being compliant and not being able to do what you're paid to do is two different things. The reality is the owner and coach don't want anything that might make them look bad in today's climate. There's a lot of people these days worried about looking bad to other people, which is why you see so many people complying with the machinations of the people making lots of money off the panic of the pandemic, surrendering, wearing masks, and getting vaccines.

Shoes are mass produced, but even if two people buy the same brand and size, they end up with different shoes to walk in.
Perhaps the guy wouldn't survive bearing children, being a mother, or all the other things that go with being a female, and perhaps the girl wouldn't survive being a male, a father, and all the other things guys go through, the things that go with being a male. It's impossible to know the shoes of another person, someone can only imagine another person's shoes, and there are people that have a gifted imagination, but that isn't the same thing as walking in someone else's shoes.

Depending on the intentions of the people restoring something, it can be good or bad. Not every restoration of a building is inyended to gentrify an area, though some are, and some don't mean for any good to come out of what they're doing for the people from an area.
The guy wasn't like some other people from areas nearby talking about bringing new life to the area while holding sacred about the area, he was actually originally from the town and wanted to do something good for the people there by restoring and opening his business in the space of a missed business. They might not all agree with what he and his wife were trying to do, but why wouldn't they support one of their own people when the alternative could be the building ending up in the hands of someone from out of town?

America's little brother/sister

The actor/singer/celebrity that could be the little brother or sister of anyone with a little brother or sister, since this person actually was somebody's little brother or sister growing up.
If the singer/actor thought his/her boy/girl next door image was bad, he/she could have always got stuck with the America's little brother/sister image of the other actor/singer/pop star.

Cartman next door

The boy/girl next door that thinks none of the other kids but him/her should have as much right to talk as him/her, which is why the Cartman next door never shuts the fuck up, but expects everyone else to. The Cartman next door always claims to want to give everyone a voice despite being the only one talking, thinking that they're all okay with somebody other than themselves being their own voices.
The Cartman next door likes to ridicule the other kids he/she is pretending to be friends with, though it's hard if not impossible to see how/why anyone would like or want to be friends with someone like the Cartman next door. He/she is as much of a loser as any other kid that he/she is always calling losers, and wants to look tough all the time, despite a lack of any real evidence that the Cartman next door waa ever tough at all.

Evanescence

If the lead singer wasn't the girl next door, it would never bother her enough for her to bring it up in a conversation. Really, she just wants the image of something other than the girl next door, and the power that goes with it (to overrun neighbors that disagree with her). No amount of complaining about how females are treated unjustly by the industry will create artificial respect that wasn't there before, since any respect gained as a result of an artificial image would be artificial respect. Some people just say they are at odds with an industry that pays them more than most people make to get publicity and support from those same people that go out and buy their music with the little bit of money they do make at work, but these aren't multi-millionaires most of the time purchasing albums by groups like Evanescence. These aren't people that would be listened to if they complained the way Evanescence or Taylor Swift or other musical artists are listened to when they whine about unjust treatment or not getting paid as much as they think the world owes them.
Evanescence is a group led by a girl that was once the girl next door to somebody growing up, so why should their lead singer be a bigger deal than that? Why should anybody for that matter?

Something people walk all over when/if they feel like a welcome is a weakness.
You helped me by eliminating yourself from my life over perceived disrespect. We didn't have much of a bond to speak of if I hardly knew you, if I did know you well then your end of the bond was false, but I won't welcome you back a second time, I don't owe you that. I'm not the doormat you thought I was.
