Pavlov’s Love 

A half hearted expression of love. “I love you too”, only ever expressed as a knee jerk response to the prompt, “I love you”.

Right On Racism 

A more honest name for what is often called positive discrimination. Used by those that realise that Positive Discriminaction is an oxymoron and discrimination is discrimination no matter which way it swings.

Also has a sibling, Right On Sexism.

There used to be an Ethnic Minorities Centre in town, but that was okay because it was Right On Racism.

BBC Radio Woman's Hour presenter complains to the director general about sexism in the BBC. She is a presenter on a program with a gender specific title produced for women by and presented by an all female team but that’s not sexism that’s Right On Sexism.

Carpentry 

An short, top up sleep often in the afternoon by those who’s nights sleep is restricted by difficult working hours or a hectic social life.

Don’t ring after two I often do a bit of carpentry in the afternoon.
