Flag

Nothing but a piece of fabric if you dont hold it sacred, which is a lot like going to church and kneeling when you dont believe in god. So, what are you really there for besides taking money out of the collection basket if you're pretending to honor something nobody else can see either?

The guy/girl didnt believe in a flag or anything else, and expected everyone else to apologize, compromise, or change their way of doing things until they didnt believe in anything either. The guy/girl didnt believe in god, but was too chicken shit not to say god bless you when somebody sneezed, that way nobody would call him/her an atheist.

Heritage 

Something you dont trade for something new, whether it be events, businesses, or money being spent. A friend who expects you to trade your old friends to gain their friendship is not a friend, heritage is no different. You dont trade in the old for the new.

What would you want to become like everyone or everywhere else for? Theres already enough people who do that, keep your heritage, even if it doesn't make you look good, and people really hate it, you dont get another heritage once its erased.

Mask 

There are businesses big enough to thrive without customers that dont wear masks. There are also national chains that have suffered during the pandemic from all the lost customers. Most businesses have as much need of their customers spending as their customers have need of the goods and services the company/business provides. The idea is the king/queen has as much (or as little) need of his/her subjects as they have of their king/queen, and the king/queen/Pope was never the only one with the power to cut heads off, even if it's mostly the king/queen/Pope giving out all the orders.

The king/queen/Pope can live by his/her own mask policy, and everybody else can live by their own policy.

Respect 

This is one definition that doesn't speak for everybody, but is a universal common sense definition. Knowing that everybody is not the same, doesn't think the same, doesn't do things the same way without trying to convert the other person to your way of doing things is respect. Once you try and convert other people to your way of doing things, you don't respect them. This applies to people who wear masks, it also applies to people who dont wear masks, and try to run off the people who do wear masks. It also applies to race and statues. Thinking someone should respect your race and your martin luther king statues while trying to get Confederate statues removed is not true respect. Expecting someone to compromise before you can respect them is not respect, it's the opposite. Compromise or expecting others to compromise is also not a sign of growing up.

Elementary school kids learn how to call people sir, ma'am, mr., and mrs., and doing so is not a sign or a symbol of true respect for somebody else, which is why false respect or pretending to respect someone is not better than no respect or disrespect, and is sometimes the exact same thing.
