Minutemen
The main difference between the minutemen of the American Revolution and the minutemen of the new millennium is the minutemen of the American Revolution were fighting the British who came from overseas to fuck with America, while the minutemen of the new millennium were fighting Mexicans who were really visiting land their ancestors once lived on. What the minutemen of the new millennium were doing there is closer to what the British were doing with the Indians when they first showed up.
The minutemen were really the 10 second men, since they were gone in about 10 seconds, and everything else is still there, it hasn't changed.

Double standard
A female playing all sides, especially the males, is celebrated in music and other media, but a guy playing all sides is someone everyone is trying to take into custody.
Females quick to try and pick at everyone else's double standards don't usually see their own for what they are.

Sense of humor
Having a poor sense of humor is worse than really being broke. Not taking anything seriously isn't the same thing as having a sense of humor. Being a joke isn't the same thing as being funny.

Dexter Holland
Instead of making an original song, Dexter Holland makes one about white guys who wear Fubu. What about a song about a white guy that watches anime all the time and has a haircut from the video game street fighter, and always poses as an Asian kid. Or a song about a white guy that poses as a Mexican kid. Even more rare would be a song about a white guy that thinks he's an Eskimo.
Dexter Holland was talking about shit everybody talked about in his song, kind of like posers who wear Fubu because other people wear it.

Ungrateful
The guy wasn't ungrateful because he was a Democrat, he was ungrateful because he was an asshole like me. He didn't owe anybody any more than they owed him anything.

Friend
Not everybody you meet in life is your friend, therefore it's unrealistic to think everybody will live together as friends if they never have.
Not everybody is your friend, and there's no good reason to trust somebody who thinks you need to unify with enemies.

Core
What's not on the surface (skin color, hair color, eye color, height, weight, skills, and so on). Who someone really is (who they were growing up).
The core would be the part of the book that isnt the cover. It doesn't have to be open to contain information about someone.
