(a combination of the words urban and dweller)
is used to denote:
1) ( humorous/offensive): a hillbilly who tries to behave like a cosmopolite (i.e .simply making fun of the fact that the individual grew up in the countryside, and is somewhat 'clumsy' when they move to the city, is not offensive by this definition)
2) (cute/humorous): a person who invents words for urbandictionary.com ( N.B. this definition stems from the fact that the English adjective 'urban' comes from the Latin word 'urbs', meaning 'city'
3) the synonym for comsmopolite

According to Pauline Marois's rational/pragmatic point of view, a true French-Canadian uni-lingual francophone living in Montreal can, and should be, considered a true urbaweller and cosmopolite; IMHO this point of view is absolutely absurd. This is why Bill 14 of Quebec, Canada, must fail; Bill 14 NEVER WAS, IS NOT, NEVER WILL BE, and therefore CANNOT POSSIBLY BE, AN EXCEPTION to the Latin phrase cessat ratione legis, cessat et ipsa lex.

a) the most pragmatic, rational (IMHO) response to the rhetorical questions of "why do old habits die hard"? and "why do people resist change"?
b) a nicer way of telling someone "no matter how hard you try to change someone they will always retain part of their individuality and be what they want to be"

a teenage boy comes crying to his father : "why won't my girlfriend Meredith follow me to Concordia University in Mechanical Engineering; all she wants to do is go to Mcgill University and do Psychology. Is there anything I can do? Should I commit a St Valentines Day Massacre on her?
father: no and no. No, she doesn't deserve that you commit a St Valentines Day Massacre on her, and no, you can't do a rat's ass about it, simply because the cherry-phrase we, humans, are creatures of habit applies not only to her, but everyone else in the world as well.
