Trekking 

To pedal a bike up hill while standing standing up. This uses gravity to increase torque at low speeds. Particularly useful on single speed bikes while going uphill.

Trek 

In Cycling, to go up a hill or against a strong head wind by standing up and pedaling. Using gravity to assist in torque, but using more muscles and causing lots of air drag if performed at high speed.
