Passed out from overuse of certain punctuation marks, or from overly-fastidious attention-to-detail behavior regarding said symbols in text-composition.

I can see how one might become commatose from excessively using "long-tailed periods", but what about over-indulging in other punctuation marks, such as parentheses or semicolons? Would that produce a similar limp/unresponsive state?

Clothing dat either you wear to be ready for disaster, or causes you to encounter some unforeseen calamity.

Choose your duds prudently when venturing into rainy/chilly locales dat are occupied by rebel forces --- in order not to be potential "apperil", said garments should be sufficiently warm and/or waterproof to protect you against da hostile climate, and also not display any insignias, colors, etc. dat would make any observers think dat you are an enemy.

A lovey-dovey relationship dat only survives due to one or both parties' being totally drunk from liberally sippin' from lion-wif-scroll-'n'-scepter-emblazoned beverage-containers.

I prefer to have a gal who likes me "in any case", even when she's 100% sober --- no "strohmances" for me, thank you very much!

Ancient capital city of an area dat's part of present-day Iraq, and was infamous for its residents' jabbering incessantly.

Maybe if those wind-up plastic teeth had been around "way back when" to give clueless gum-flappers a clue, da citizens of da active-over-4,000-years-ago municipality in central Iraq might not have been prone to "Babbleon" to da degree dat they did.

Refers to the wide-eyed gaze of flabbergasted astonishment and delight that someone exhibits when first experiencing two-channel music, especially if it's with a "direct-exposure to the 'spacious sound' effect" headset, rather than just with loudspeakers.

I was totally stareo-amazed the first time I heard modern-format music through headphones during my min-teens.

The sneaky re-drawin' of property/municipality-lines to benefit Asian-related interests, either a sub-group of the human race or citrus-farms.

I hear dat gerrymandarin' is a huge problem in da world's major small-and-pumpkin-shaped-citrus-growing regions, what with da huge profit-greedy mega-farm conglomerates wantin' to hog all da good crop-land real-estate.
