stereotype

A prejudicial idea from lunatic-fringe purists who believe that all recorded sound should be in mono and that all books should be in single-column format.
Stereotype can also refer to a form of keyboarding whereby two parallel columns of text are formed on each page of a larger--than-usual book, rather than just one cumbersome page-wide block that fatigues your neck from having to zip yer head back and forth to read the long lines.

Coolidge-level training

An extreme or "advanced" degree of "Silent Cal" tutoring in the art of keepin' yer trap shut and/or using as few words as possible to get your point across. 'Nuff said.
I am so glad that international phoning-rates have been drastically reduced over the past decades... if you were still charged several dollars per word, you'd practically need Coolidge-level training to be able to afford one of those beastly calls!

lips-spluttering dissent

A super-strongly-expressed declining/disagreeing gesture, involving tightly shutting one's eyes and shaking one's head back and forth so rapidly/forcefully that one's cheeks/lips waggle violently from side to side; this is often accompanied by exhaling/humming so as to produce a loud rhythmic burbling sound as the head is shaken. Most often used by younger children, though adults may occasionally display the gesture, especially in regards to a topic that they feel extra-emotionally-charged about.
School menu-advisor, interviewing a new kindergarten student to learn his food-preferences: So you like oatmeal with milk and raisins okay... that's good... well, then, how about buckwheat cereal?
Youngster, assuming a horrified facial-expression and almost turning green before scrunching up his face and vigorously shaking his head: Wvvbwlvbl-vbwlvbl-vbwlvbl-vbwlvbl-vbwlvbl-vbwlvbl-vbwlvbl-vbwlvbl!
School menu-advisor, amusedly marking "no" on the list of cafeteria-selections: Okay --- MAJOR lips-spluttering dissent on THAT one!

second opawnion

The destructive/oppressive practice of --- when wrongfully refusing a perfectly-reasonable request from someone of less physical/emotional/intellectual/financial means than you possess --- consulting someone else whom you know will be a "yes man" to anything you say (i.e., "pawn") for a confirming/bolstering agreement, thereby invalidly giving the unfortunate favor/easement-requester the false idea that "everyone else feels the same as I do", and thus that he himself must be the one who's being selfish/wimpy/unreasonable to expect something like that, even though both you and your "confederate" know fully well that **you yourself** are the one who's in the wrong by your heartless refusal to allow for the asker's less-than-optimum capabilities.
Asking for a second opawnion is actually a form of gaslighting, since it can cause the unfortunate mercy-seeker to doubt his own sanity in his actually-totally-valid belief that whatever he is requesting is logical/necessary. By your strongly expressing your lying assertion that his request is unreasonable/preposterous --- and yet he himself can see no problem with whatever he is asking for, since he honestly feels the genuine and overwhelming need to have said easement granted him due to his own infirmities/incapabilities --- you may very likely cause him to invalidly think that he does not even know his own needs/self/body properly, which can lead to a permanent damage to his basic perception of reality and self-worth.

We're biting for your life

What lobster parents say when they take a small nip out of their youngsters' tails so that if a lobsterman catches the lobsters sometime later, he has to throw them back. The amended v-notch law now states that if you catch a lobster that has a bit missing from its tail where a v-notch could have been, you have to throw it back, since it might have been previously v-notched by a fisherman to mark it as an egg-bearing female.
Lobster mom: We're biting for your life.
Lobstermen: What about **our** lives?? You're reducing our income by preventing us from harvesting a lot of legal lobsters!

turkey jerky

A handjob that a gal gives a not-overly-bright guy in exchange for his assisting her in some way (passing her a few bucks, helping her with homework, giving her a ride, doing a little work on her bike/car, etc.), when she knows full well that his generosity on her behalf is worth far more than just a momentary/temporary sexual pleasure.
Dude #1: Yo, where ya been, Bro?? Da game is nearly at half-time --- you were gonna sit and watch da whole show with me!
Dude #2: Yeah, I know, Man --- sorry I'm late, but I was helping Tiffany to finish up her algebra homework --- she'd already paid me for my efforts, so I didn't wanna run out on her till I was done.
Dude #1: Tiffany PAID you for your work? Dat gal is such a spendthrift that she hasn't got a dime to her name most of da time! What'd she pay ya with?
Dude #2 (flushing a little): Oh, she let me play with her boobs while she "relieved the pressure".
Dude #1: Ahhhhh... she gave ya da ol' turkey jerky routine, eh?

economy-grade stud

A far-below-average dude who is usually passed over in favor of more "succulent 'n' satisfying" male-meat by all but the most ugly/desperate/undesirable hussies who would otherwise have little chance of getting laid.
Economy-grade studs may not necessarily be dislikable guys per se, but they tend to be sorely lacking in the "hot 'n' heavy" department --- they may have low stamina in bed and/or perspire excessively during intercourse, only cum a weak dribble and/or have to wait several days to "recharge", have a small/narrow wee-wee, be very overweight and/or older than dirt, have an apathetic/lackluster personality, etc. Extra points if they are financially-solvent, though --- at least they won't mooch off the lady they're with at the moment, plus they may even be willing to assist HER with the cost of a few groceries and/or housewares.
