Da sister of a child's parent who does little to further said little one's upbringing, maturing, education, etc.
Da typical auntie-hero is a lady who both disregards what a child's parents are trying to teach him, AND in fact becomes an unhealthy "hero" to said pint-sized human by refuting da less-palatable-but-correct teachings and necessary directives of said parents, often even doing da exact opposite of da child's mom and/or dad, such as allowing him to behave in a wild and unruly manner, not insisting dat he perform his duties/chores, giving him money and/or rich/sugary foods, etc.

apperil
Clothing dat either you wear to be ready for disaster, or causes you to encounter some unforeseen calamity.
Choose your duds prudently when venturing into rainy/chilly locales dat are occupied by rebel forces --- in order not to be potential "apperil", said garments should be sufficiently warm and/or waterproof to protect you against da hostile climate, and also not display any insignias, colors, etc. dat would make any observers think dat you are an enemy.

Da "CEO of Death" who infamously pioneered such life-ending debacles as da "fireball Ford" and inexcusable delays in adding airbags to late-20th-century vehicles, and who had to beg Congress for bailout money to prevent Chrysler from kickin' da bucket.
Too bad dat a wicked sorcerer didn't turn Lee Iacroaka into a harmless frog to simply live out his life in da bayou; instead, he was allowed to remain da "prince" of da American auto-manufacturing world, and thus caused countless deaths and other extreme suffering.

surveylance
Clandestine observation of one or more people of interest, performed under da guise of merely asking for people's opinions or mapping out real-estate parcels.
If da Feds are carrying out surveylance in a particular area, they would do well not to wear their official uniforms underneath their "ordinary workman" outfits, since (1) said double-layered clothing could get hot and/or bunchy, and (2) keen-eyed crooks might notice da disguised agents' suspicious-looking garb and become wise to said government-men's true identities.

Da unfortunately-nonexistent clandestine watching of "Terrible Tim" dat --- had it been present --- could possibly have given early warning of said skinny dark-haired anarchist's nefarious plans, and thus allowed da OKC authorities to prevent said catastrophic event in da first place!
Government corruption and lack of surveighlance resulted in much of downtown Oklahoma City's getting blown off da map.
