Definitions by Pentozali

A person who is either about to go on jury duty or is already on a case, clueless about what goes on in criminal law procedures despite orientation in the waiting room and instructions from the judges. Also spelled "dut", both spellings pronounced to rhyme with "boot". From "jury DUTy".
What a pain in the butt! It's time for me to talk to that doot in front of me at the courthouse!

North Bumblepoot

Any place that is remote, not served by a normal network of roads, and is just about as close to pure wilderness as one can get.
We're really LOST---we're in North Bumblepoot now! Susan, could you look for the Garmin and put some batteries in it, please?

gas passer

Not a person who breaks wind frequently, but an anesthesiologist. Anesthesia in hospitals is accomplished these days more often by a combination of inhalation and injection rather than solely by inhalation.
I needed to have a laparoscopy, so the doctor wheeled me over to the gas passer.

Pressing Control-Alt-Delete on a computer keyboard to boot, reboot, or clear a program on the computer.

frog suit

The entire outfit worn by people who are employed in hazardous waste disposal, from the gas mask to the boots. Depending on the type of chemical or communicable disease being neutralized, the gas mask could be a one-canister or two-canister type.
Someone placed a call about a chemical fire at the plastics factory, so we're getting our frog suits ready!

An island to the south of mainland Greece that's full of superlatives: beautiful women; interesting costumes; one of the few areas of Greece where the dialects have "ch" and "sh" sounds, unlike pure Greek; and last but not least, very busy-for-the-feet folk dances like Pentozali and Maleviziotikos. Crete is the home of the unusual Minoan civilization, with its red building columns and frequent depictiona of minotaurs and dolphins.
I'm trying to learn the steps to this pentozali from Crete.
