Pi’s Block

The math constant’s equivalent of writer’s block. When the number π frustratingly finds herself facing a blank page with zero output on her part, often spewing out a string of four-letter words.
Unlike her constant counterparts like e and 𝜙, rain or shine, π doesn’t give the excuse of pi’s block to rationalize why she’s semi-productive or unproductive on certain days.

Fight-or-Flight Math

When it is humanly understandable to give up instead of persevering when faced with a false start or failure in solving a math problem—when the pain-and-gain mindset is often missing among struggling or frustrated students, who mistakenly thought that only those blessed or born with the “mathematical gene” could do math.
Fight-or-flight math makes it hard for us to think clearly, logically, and reflexively. Let not negative emotions take control of our reactions.

Post Truth Math

Also known as “Fake Math,” “Trump Math,” “Bigly Math,” and “BS Math.” Half-lies and conspiracies about or on math and math education, which look superficially or uncritically fun, but they are conceptually dangerous to most semi-innumerates and non-symbol-minded folks.
Millions of MAGA patriots have been brainwashed or radicalized to believe post truth math without questions, which has indirectly led to the banning of some math titles or classics in some puritan circles.

Hyphen Years

The years between your birth and death, when what you believe or reject and do (and not do) on this side of eternity will determine your eternal destiny after your last breath.
Imperfect as we are, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, who gives us wisdom and understanding and empowers us to bear fruit in every good work, we can labor to enjoy meaningful hyphen years on this side of heaven—a life well-lived for Jesus, while promoting Him to the lost souls.

First-World Christianity

When the majority of even lower-middle class believers in developed countries selfishly focus on their perceived lack and discontent, who already live in abundance and comfort, compared to their brothers and sisters who are struggling to put food on the table or feed their families.
Be it on rising costs of living, influx of immigrants, or access to abortion and fertility clinics, what percentage of the faithful in America are often guilty of practicing a form of faux or first-world Christianity?

Purrvert

Someone who is very attracted to cats or to anything that is even remotely related to the feline family.
It’s no surprise that Sally’s friends call her a purrvert, because she likes splurging on Hello Kitty and Garfield collectibles even when she’s overseas.

The spiritual password that allows every believer in Jesus Christ to gain access to and increase in God’s grace—His unmerited favor, which doesn’t depend on their deeds, rites, or pilgrimages they are religiously told to perform in their lifetime.
The enemy doesn’t mind you having faith in an impersonal God, who decides your eternal destiny based on your earthly works; instead, only faith in the Holy Trinity—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—will enable you and empower you to fulfill your God-given purpose in life.
