heartumentary

Often seen on PBS and at film festivals, a heartumentary is a documentary with heart. More than a documentary, which chronicles data on a particular person, place, and/or thing, a heartumentary not only informs the audience but gets them actually caring about the person, place, and/or thing.
This weekend, at the local film festival, I saw an excellent heartumentary, "Plagues and Pleasures: The Salton Sea". Watching it made me care about the place and the people and animals who live there. Since The Salton Sea is in danger of extinction, it also makes me want to let others know about it.

trick out

To trick out is to put your girlfriend out on the streets, turning tricks. Frequent tactic of low-life sludge who get nice girls hooked on crack. Once they're hooked tricking them out is the next step. The sludge then has dual trade.

low-life

Low-life is a person who has not evolved past the level of primordial ooze in the scheme of things. A low-life is an opportunist and has no guilt over doing rotten or heinous things. If they hurt the innocent or the naive of course a low-life will blame their victim for not being as low-life as they are.
Antwan is a low-life for taking advantage of lonely little teenaged girls.

sludge

A low-life toxic personality who spreads their poison and contaminates the innocent. Sludge is human primordial ooze. Teenage girls often gravitate towards sludge. The sludge soon slimes all over them and the next thing they know the girl's hooked on crack. The trick out stage is next, where Mr. Sludge puts her on the street. She becomes a crack ho and he profits from the dual trade. Advice for dealing with sludge: run in the opposite direction or shoot on sight.
Antwan was a perfect example of sludge when he tricked Sally out.

beverly hillbilly

Word origin: from the old TV show, "The Beverly Hillbillies", about a family of rustic hill folk who strike oil on their land and become fabulously wealthy. They "load up the truck and move to Beverly... Hills that is, swimmin' pools, movie stars." The comedy series revolves around how out of place the family is in their mansion.

beverly hillbilly is defined as: 1) a person who is obviously out of their element; 2) a person unable to utilize an object properly, for whatever reason.
Example 1: The pampered white social worker looked like a beverly hillbilly as she climbed the rickety stairs of the tenement building to pay a call on one of her families on caseload.

Example 2: The suburban parents' poor choice of a top end camera for their 12-yr old became apparent in the casual way the boy tossed it around showed his beverly hillbillyism with it.

Cyberia

It's the interactive space of the Internet. It's another world, where the time-space continuum is warped. Reality is on a plane different than the world of IRL aka "in real life". People can morph and be many different personas. Madness runs rampant. Maniacs float through the ether freely. Isolated individuals can connect with other humans in Cyberia. Different countries in Cyberia are bulletin boards, usenet, blogs and blogsites like Live Journal and E Blogger, websites with discussion boards, dating sites like OK Cupid!, special interest websites like imdb.
A recluse for years, the computer programmer finally made human contact in Cyberia, at alt.support.shyness.

time-space continuum

Things and events existing and moving in linear fashion. They move from one place to the next place in logical sequence in time and space. This realm is known as the time-space continuum.
Example 1: Cyberia warps the time-space continuum in that you can read about events out of chronological sequence and from anywhere, at any time on the Internet.

Example 2: The study of quantum physics considers how linear reality really is, calling into question the validity of the perception that all things fall into sequence according to the time-space continuum.
