TAD
Tuesday Afternoon Drinks.
The earlier version of or prelude to TND.
TAD allows you to get really pissed if you do TND as well or mediocre drunk if you go home on time.
If you find yourself in a pub before 5pm with a pint in your hand on a Tuesday, you are doing TAD.
If you find yourself doing TAD every week, you're doing it too often.
Also be careful combining TAD with too many other AD's during the same week.
Although TAD is better than MAD, WAD, ThAD and FAD are better still.

Probably the only AD that can be enjoyed on an almost weekly basis.
Biggest downside to FAD: because a lot of people only work parttime on Friday, there's a lot of civil servant or banker wankers in the pub. But on the upside, these people generally need to be home by 5, so when FND starts, they're all gone and you're nicely liquored up.

Gingerbread
Release 2.3 of Google's Android.
There is still a lot unknown about Gingerbread, it is said that Google will release a music store and that 2.3 will support video calls, but that has not been confirmed. Gingerbread will have better integration with social networks and is likely to support (online) games as well.

pull a Zewald
To pretend you have to leave early just to get rid of annoying person in the pub. Upon leaving the pub, make sure all your friends go in one direction and the annoying person in the other. When he/she is out of sight, it's safe to go back in a have a good time with your friends!
