st. joe's prep
A private all boys school located in a getto in North Philadelphia. It is known by everyone as THE PREP. Its the only high school in the world where the older and uglier your clothes are the cooler you are. We win erything from football to forensics to bolling and basketball to mock trial. Theres nothing we dont excell in. Every Prep guy bleeds Prep pride and is always cheering the loudest at the end of any dance, prom or mixer. Only school that has mixers with a 3-1 girl to guy ratio. You can always heer our loud obnoxious cheers at any PREP event, and every spectator is always wearing his PREP gear. ITS THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH. LaSalle wants to be just like it but knows it can never live up to THE PREP's glory.

Get the Old Bridge High Schoolmug. 
1) A germanic tribe who invaded the late roman empire along with the vandals, visi goths etc and actually became more civilized afterwards.
2) An building style used in medieval times and later in victorian times.
2) A literature style of which Dracula and ther supernateral horrors were written in.
3) A music genre that came about in the 80's as an of shoot of punk.
4) A subculture of people who originally listened to Goth music. Now has increased to fit Industrial and Black/Death metal followers. Goths are typically seen as morbid, wearing black clothes almost all of the time, and wearing make up regardless of sex. Also seen to be more open minded to other cultures, sexualities etc.
5) Prententious people who listen to Nu metal who think they are goths but really teenagers who know nothing of music.

Get the Gothmug. A culture that has formed in mainstreem culture and then take it under ground.
The easiest subculture to use as an example is the goth scene. It started from the punk movment and then went underground when punk and goth music became "un-popular" (ie no longer in the pop charts) where it flourished. The goth scene now has its own fashion, sociological and poltical veiws, religions (Wicca, Satanism, agnostisism and even budism have all been accepted by the goth scene) as well as its own music scene.
Subculture's should be treated as any other cultures, with an open mind.
