Pandamic

When mathematical modeling shows that the next pandemic would probabilistically come from pandas, as the virus moved from these beloved or cute animals to humans, but the potential source location of infection, be it in a zoo or forest, remains a bone of contention.
Would the next pandemic be pandamic, as people and pandas increase their close contact with each other, thus putting an end to China’s panda diplomacy?

Grey Creativity

When creativity doesn’t fade with age, just because research shows that most people are fearful of breaking rules or challenging the authority in school and in the workplace, compared to when they were playful, uninhibited kindergartners.
Looking at the thousands of folks above fifty, who are working as advisers or consultants for successful start-ups and government agencies worldwide, this proves that grey creativity isn’t a flash in the pan.

Mask Hysteria

When some countries insist that their citizens continue to don a mask in public squares even if they have been fully vaccinated just in case they might still get infected or reinfected or infect others, although the chances of that happening are pretty low—their non-scientific decisions are often based on intuition or overcaution or irrational fear.
With vaccination in full swing in many developed countries, and with declining infection and mortality rates, isn’t it mere mask hysteria that authorities mandate that inoculated folks continue to wear masks both indoor and outdoor for the sake of those who refuse or have yet to be jabbed?

Maskism

When the authorities try to indoctrinate an oft-frightened or semi-informed lay public that mask-wearing is mandatory to protect them against the coronavirus, regardless of whether they are vaccinated or not, even though their knowledge with regard to the extent to which masking is effective against deadlier variants of the virus is half-baked.
With rising infection and mortality rates in spite of a decent rate of vaccination in the population, a number of governments in the West are turning to maskism to contain the corona crisis in the face of deadlier variants.

No Mask, No Math

The slogan by math educators for their pseudoscientific or conspiracist audience, who argue that mask wearing or social distancing is ineffective in protecting them and others, especially for those who now have a certain degree of immunity after recovering from Covid-19.
Pastors tell their congregations: “no mask, no mass”; principals tell their classes: “no mask, no math.”

Salvation sans Jesus

When someone confesses that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior and that God raised Him from the dead is the first step to avoid spending their afterlife on earth in hell—whose sins are forgiven through the cleansing blood of Jesus on the cross.
It’s politically incorrect to lovingly share the “Good News” to nonbelievers that there’s no other way to heaven except through Jesus—the ”Salvation sans Jesus” message that religious leaders from other faiths find insensitive or offensive, but nevertheless true, if they unbiasedly study the Bible.

Mask Boys

A group of alt-right vigilantes who would hurl vulgarities and racial slurs at those without a mask in public, or at those who wear it without covering their nose or/and mouth, and would kick them if they refuse to pull their mask up from their chin.
Ironically, in a number of red states, dozens of pro-Trump anti-maskers, who are now part of Mask Boys for unknown reasons, have been arrested for their deadly or thuggish behaviors towards their fellow patriots who refused to back down.
