Before COVID was a thing, Wuhan was actually quite a nice city. Located in the central region of China, Wuhan is the capital city of the Hubei province and has a population of over 11 million.

This city has a rich history left by ancient Chinese dynasties so you will find many historical structures such as the Yellow Crane Tower.

The city is also situated right beside Yangtze River, the 3rd longest river in the world. The Yangtze River Bridge is also located here, and is the world's 2nd longest suspension bridge.

As for cuisine, Wuhan is mostly known for its soups and noodle dishes.

Though, Wuhan may be the last place you'd want to be during the summer, as temperatures get scorching hot.
Pre-COVID Wuhan: *lively busy atmosphere with many street attractions to see*

Post-COVID Wuhan: *cricket noises*

Personality trait

A personality trait is often thought of as labels you conform to (e.g. introvert/extrovert, shy/sociable), but really it should be thought of as something which makes a person unique.

In other words, personality traits refers to the idiosyncrasies of an individual.
Example 1: Brianna hated wearing braces in her middle to high school years, but ultimately it became her personality trait as it defined who she was.

Example 2: Being a night owl is a personality trait

Example 3: Having an odd and unusual kink is a personality trait as it is highly idiosyncratic

Ethirsty

A guy or gal who is obsessed with eboys or egirls. In the case of the latter, a guy who is ethirsty often has a lot of cash on their hands, and has an addiction for paying for nude pics or vids of every e-girl they see on Tik Tok.
Guy 1: Yo imma bout to pay this chick on Tik Tok $10 for some pussy pics
Guy 2: That sounds kinda sketchy dude
Guy 1: Nah, we're using Venmo which is obviously a totally secure p2p payment service

Guy 2: Still sounds kinda sketchy dude, you must be real ethirsty

Resting cringe face

A resting cringe face (RCF for short) is similar to resting bitch face, but instead of an angry or irritated face, the individual instead unintentionally maintains a cringed sour facial expression. Imagine watching the most cringiest meme video or literally sucking on a lemon, that's the kind of facial expression people with RCF make.

They might not realize that they're cringing their own facial muscles, but many people will notice. RCF is also far more contagious compared to RBF. For example, when you see someone with RCF, you will immediately start cringing too and you will feel incredibly bitter and gloomy.

RCF is relatively uncommon in younger people. Older aged women (49-65) are often the ones that suffer from RCF.

Me: *arrives to class late*
Substitute teacher: Who are you?
Me: Oh, I'm in this class, I just arrived late

Substitute teacher: Ah ok
Me: *quietly working on my assignment*
Substitute teacher: *Stands in front of me with her nasty resting cringe face*
Me: *feels sick to the stomach*
Me: Hi, am I doing anything wrong?
Substitute teacher: Oh no not at all, I'm just seeing what you're working on
Me: Oh ok
Substitute teacher: *continues to exhibit resting cringe face*
Me: *starts to cringe and feel bitter AF*

(School ends, goes home)

My mom: What's the matter?

Me: Oh, no, I just have a resting cringe face that's all, I caught it from my substitute teacher today
This is the ultimate form of "ok" (in the disdainful sense), where the letter "k" doesn't even suffice how much you don't give two damns. "|" is simply the letter K but without the two strokes (chevron?) on the right.

Used only when 'k' doesn't help cut it.
Example:

Some random e-girl on kik: Hey handsome, wanna see videos of me while I play with myself?
Me: No
E-girl: But it's only $60, and if you could reeeeally spoil me some more, I'll even throw in some close up pics😘😜😋
Me: |

Expanding brain meme example:

Okay - No brain activity
Ok - Mild brain activity
K - Huge brain activity
| - Brain literally transcends into a higher level of consciousness

Cancel Culture

Cancel Culture is an internet phenomenon that has emerged due to the internet's highly dogmatic hivemind mentality, where the opinions and attitudes of the public are harmonized into one giant unanimous blob. The said blob will spontaneously accuse and reprimand anyone who rubs them the wrong way, regardless of the individual's true intention. Often, these indicted individuals aren't even aware that what they said could be viewed in a different light, it's only the people that make it seem that way.

For example, take someone who asked "can marijuana make someone as intoxicated as alcohol" on Reddit. The guy who asked it was simply bored, but the people of Reddit took offense, ambiguously assumed that they're asking to take advantage of girls, and begin exposing all their previous posts to further prove the hivemind's unfounded belief. This right here is Cancel Culture in a nutshell.

Though it's easy to single out the "social justice warriors", do not be mistaken. In reality, anyone can co-opt a cancel culture as long as they share the same dogmatic and hypersensitive attitudes of the majority. In fact, the victims of cancel culture could be anyone who has disobeyed a rule or a policy of a group/affiliation/institution.

Essentially, the gist of cancel culture is about the public (and the individuals representing the public) either making accusations about something/someone they absolutely know nothing about, or overinflating a minor and irrelevant issue.
Example 1: People bashing PewDiePie for using the n-word and making satirical jokes about Nazism are proponents of cancel culture.

Example 2: Disney firing James Gunn for his 'offensive' tweets can be attributed to cancel culture.

Example 3: Diana was kicked out of a group chat on Kik because she didn't follow one of their group rules. She wanted to re-establish bona fide connections with one of the group members (Mikayla), but she rejected her and rebuked her just because she broke one of the group rules. Mikayla has just co-opted cancel culture as there was no legitimate reason not to befriend her.

Example 4: Jason sought help on r/FamilyAdvice because his abusive father kept beating his mother and threatening her and Jason. He admitted that he finally had enough and stood up for his mother by throwing a saucepan at his father. As a result of cancel culture, the people of Reddit decided on a whim that—despite the wickedness of his abusive father—Jason was the one that deserved all the blame because he hit him with a saucepan. This is because public opinion on Reddit upholds the traditional belief to always honor your parents no matter what. Thus, because of cancel culture, the true severity of Jason's situation was never taken into light, and his post (and other comments supporting him) were unfortunately downvoted to oblivion.

Dongle life

When a corporation intentionally limits what you can/cannot do with your electronic device and people just passively accept that as life.
C'mon Apple, we've been living the dongle life for years, carrying all these extra cables and adapters with us only because we have one damn port. I think about it's time that we (the consumers) had enough of this.
