A car that is an absolute piece of shit. The bodywork will have more hits than the Beatles and the dash will be lit up like a Christmas tree and will take at least an hour to start the engine in the morning if you're lucky.

Lose the plot

To lose all self control and go absolutely bonkers. Make stupid and irrational decisions. In most cases only lasts a few minutes but sometimes can be permanent which will require long periods of habitation in psychiatric hospitals with the men in white coats.

Jimmy will lose the plot when he finds out someone stole his New Kids On The Block album.

Someone who comes for a poor family and gets picked on in school because their uniform is cheap shit and they would usually be a freeloader.

Jimmy . If you don't have an 1880 club blazer you're a scrobe. Tell you ma to stop smoking and gambling the DLA money and buy you a half decent uniform .

sweenyitis

Condition when someone feels the urge to leave work to go out for a smoke at least 20 times per shift. The person will also be lazy, have no consideration for work colleagues and usually be a hindrance. There is no cure for severe sweenyitis but can be cured if caught at a very early stage.

I think I have sweenyitis. I just can't resist standing out in the smokehut and leaving my work colleagues to do all the work.
