Popular television gameshow origianally shown on the BBC and presented by Anne Robinson. Later shown in many other countries. It was made popular not by the contestants voting eachother off to land just one with the money, but also that instead of being cheery, the presenter kept a stern face and questioned the intelligence of the contestants.
When they were voted off one-by-one, she would say "You are the weakest link, Good-bye."

a) A plastic card that allows you credit from a large company to buy things. This is to given back at the end of each month. Unfortunately, failure to pay results in interest.
b) A piece of hose and a bucket. Those hose is slipped into the fuel tank of a vehicle, and someone sucks out the fuel into the bucket. It is so-called because it is a way of "paying for fuel". A credit card or cash is needed to buy fuel, and here a "credit card" is the method.

The time is 9 O'clock (well, 21:29) and having found no good tv, I turned on the PC and defined this word and a half.
Charlie at five o'clock sir!
