Envelopaphobia

The fear of opening letters. Commonly the case when a person has experienced or experiencing a period of time when they fear unaffordable bills arriving in the mail and so end up significantly delaying the opening of a letter or discarding of it unopened all together. ENVELOPAPHOBIA, ENVELPAPHOBIC

My tax bill has just been posted and I’m feeling envelopaphobic. Could you open it for me?

I’ve been too scared to open a single letter posted. I think I have envelopaphobia.

Dark light

When unwanted or unbearable truth is revealed or when a surprising negative within a situation or someone is exposed.

I know you don’t want to hear this Mr Smith, but I’m just giving you the “dark light”

I was ready to give him all of me but then I saw the “dark light” and now I know the truth.

Sorry Lorry

A person who apologises for who they are.

A generally good person, who constantly doubts them self.
Someone who apologises even when they’re not in the wrong.

“Listen Amanda, you have every right to be at the party. Don’t be such a sorry lorry.”

Techmanic

When someone feels as though they can’t survive without technology.
Or when a private or public location is overwhelmingly filled with technological equipment.
