Ham overhang

a) the piece of a slice of ham which hangs outside the bread when a sandwich or toastie is prepared and, if not tucked back in, can burn and spoil the finished product.

b) parts of the labia which protrude from either side or both sides of the gusset of women's panties or g-string.

Charge anxiety

The acute worry an electric vehicle owner has when the charge begins to fall, the nearest charging point is probably broken and you’re miles from home.

Fulsome was 70 miles from home with no recharging points en route. Charge anxiety kicked in as he realised he’d need the heater and demister on and there were only 55 miles of charge left.

Hot pillow
