Hym "Not going to lie, I'm feeling a little slighted. Is that what you all want me to feel here? Because, if not, you need to get better at expressing yourselves. I'd suggest poetry. You won't be as good at it as me (because I'm a genius) but that's ok. My staggering brilliance doesn't detract from your... whatever it is that you are. And I know what you're thinking 'BuT hYm YoU iNsUlT pEoPlE aLl ThE tImE!' IRRELEVANT! Retaliatory insults! Each an every one of them retaliatory in nature! This is not a teachable moment and I am not to be held to behavioral standards. You smelly filth monkeys (on the other hand) should know better. And YOU! I mean, wow, that is a lot of 'me' references. So, apparently I'm up there with Halo and schoolastic and 80's movies now. I mean, you make more money when you say the things I write? That's sounds an awful lot like 'creative consultant' territory to me. I could be GIVEN money for that. OR, better yet, booty and money. What you're doing there, that doesn't seem salutary and I'm not interested in being told who I am, how I feel, or what I think by people who don't know me."

Clair Obscur

It means "Clear Obscure" in English. So they are doing a Hym Iam sort of thing. And apparently the guy who did the score is some random teacher who was posting his music to SoundCloud that they hired (I learned this by way of SebbyWebz) and they KNOW the score is good. They are INSANELY HEAVY HANDED WITH IT! But it's brilliant.

Hym "I mean, if I'm being honest... Clair Obscur is THE GREATEST GAME THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN!!! There is no way it doesn't win an award for the story and best original score AND game of the year. It's impossible. It literally CAN'T happen. That... Not happening... Can't... Happen... Yes. That. It's the greatest. I'm fighting Simon now. I just hit lvl 99... Why would you do that? Why is he like that? It's nutz. You'll see. It's ridiculous. But the game is phenomenal."

Cancel Culture

Ope! See that? See, it's not that the cancel culture is bad and wrong. It's not the top down ideological control by way of the media being used to destroy people lives for trivial things... It's the religious conservatives not being in control of everyones lifes. That's the problem with cancel culture. The REAL problem is that THEY should be doing the canceling.

This cancel culture is the death of freedom and if you take one thing away from this I want it to be this: On a long enough timeline, what you're doing is going to necessitate violence. You might not even live to see it. But it'll be whoever you indoctrinated to believe what you believe before you die (probably you kids) and the are going to be slaughtered and they are going to deserve it. And I'm going to laugh. I think that's like a vague, surface-level belief that you aren't really willing to give up or do anything to actually make manifest in the world. But it sounds good! You know... You aren't really doing anything.
