A scentuation is a situation where there is a noticeable scent in the area. A skunk could be responsible for a foul scentuation. A woman doused in cheap perfume is a walking bad scentuation. A fragrant rose creates a lovely scentuation.

Some people love their toast burned; but I feel it is just creates a bad scentuation. Yuk!

damndemic 

A damndemic is a public health situation where thousands and thousands of good folks become quite ill, or worse, due to exposure to an invisible virus or bacteria. The spread of the illness is hastened by a small but vocal percentage of the public not following precautionary guidelines, and not giving a damn about the health and well being of others.

"If people don't follow the rules, we are all going to be hit during this damndemic," the spokesperson said.

A more specific term relating to lockdown pounds, the weight gained by some who takes the shelter in place order as an excuse to eat.

I need to get busy. All I have to show for the virus is this quarantine fifteen.

A coronaphoner is a very modern phenomenon triggered by the heinous virus. An interview by a journalist conducted from afar is termed a "phoner". An interview conducted from any distance, but now via cell phone to maintain social distance, is a coronaphoner.

I needed to interview the police chief, so we did a coronaphoner while I sat in the parking lot outside her office.

The confusing place many of us end up visiting several times a day, or the feeling that we get...when and where people say things that are meaningless to us. Our language changes on a dime these days, and being lingodark is the result.

"I gave my roommate props for cleaning the cat, and he said ,"Totes!". Right then, I felt lingodark.
