A canine gymnasium designed to be a type of day treatment facility for unmanageable neighborhood dogs that bark all day long and drive neighbors out of their minds.
I set up the yappitorium, calling it “Happy Doggy Day Care” and passed out free coupons to my immediate neighbors until that fine day arrived that I could lay in my hammock all day long reading a book and listening to the birds chirp softly.

A term to describe when a person’s life revolves around making repeated contributions to Urban Dictionary.
I came upon this term in the middle of living it and I realized that all other aspects of my life were retreating into the blurry distance as UD Life became my raison d’etre.

A term to describe the compulsive behavior of putting everything you do “on blast” such as on FB, Instagram, tweeting, blogging and the like.
It eventually became clear to all of her friends and followers that she was living the megaphone life to obscure the fact that her life was in truth, completely empty.

Old Fart Life
A description of your life in old age once you have experienced a major medical event and everyone everywhere treats you as though you are fragile and on the edge of death.
My husband informed me last night as I hovered over him over something absurd that he could go just a little longer until he had to live totally inside “Old Fart Life” for the rest of his days, so I’ve decided to force myself to let up as much as I possibly can!

silent facial mask rant
One of the great and enduring freedoms implicit in COVID times, that of being able to swear up a quiet storm beneath your facial mask whereas previously you had to inhibit this.
I took to the frequent “silent facial mask rant,” hoping that I could do away with this nasty and unsociable habit once we are all able to unmask ourselves in the distant future.
