Rapid City, SD is in the western part of the state. Sometimes, people refer to Rapid City as "Rapid".

Kory and the Fireflies, a five guy group, are a regional pop/rock band from Sioux Falls, SD. They perform in SD, MN, IA, NE and they have been to Hawaii, Georgia, and the Kennedy Center.
