In 2020, TikToker QueenZieLocTheVoice recorded a video of her urging her daughter to wake up from sleeping in and log into her virtual Zoom class. She then mentioned that if she didn’t log in she would have her mother in trouble with Truancy. Thus, people on TikTok began using the sound from that video in their own videos to signify the urge to divert focus on important things instead of non-important things.
