Jeg så Jesus dø

Danish for "I Saw Jesus Die", a 1970s Danish pornographic film based on the life of Jesus Christ (the central figure of Christianity).

Not much is really known about the film, but it is notable for being one of the earliest known Christian pornos.
If any Christian today saw Jeg så Jesus dø they would immediately pour holy water on the video cassette of the film in a heartbeat.

Trekkie 1: Is it unpopular to say that I think Patrick Stewart is a better actor than William Shatner?

Trekkie 2: Nope. Shatner's a douche so I'd say it's alright.

The Balance Between Good and Evil

Basically what life is all about. No one is truly good and no one is truly evil. People may be black and white emotionally but we're all really grey because we have good and bad in all of us.

However, this doesn't mean that one should actually strive to be evil. We're all imperfect so we're bound to make mistakes sometimes, but what's most important is that we learn from them and prevent ever doing them again.
The yin and the yang pretty much describes the balance between good and evil.

Generation Generalization

When one generalizes an entire generation without knowing the fact that not all the people within a specific generation fit most negative stereotypes about them. This is especially used against the Millennials and Gen Z'ers.
Non-Millennial: All Millennials are so PC it hurts.

Millennial: Uh, I'm part of Generation Y and I don't even give two shits about political correctness.

Non-Millennial: Really?

Millennial: Yeah. Instead of going with generation generalization, how about we all just stop generalizing the hell out of different generations and actually work together to make this world a much better place for us to live in.

Ugly Canadian

Similar to the Ugly American, but completely different due to being all Canadian instead of American.
American 1: Sometimes I wish I could move to Canada. Canadians are known to be the nicest people there is.

American 2: Dude, shouldn't Ugly Canadians be enough to prove that not all Canadians are perfect angels? That alone is enough to prove that there's rude and obnoxious people everywhere and not just in the U.S.

The Star Trek Generation

People who grew up watching Star Trek during the mid 1960s. This was during a time where the technology back then wasn't as good as it is now so Star Trek was one of the only things that kept them the most entertained because of the futuristic elements within the show in which they envisioned the future to be like.
My grandpa is part of the Star Trek generation. It was one of his all time favorite shows.

Good Art Has No Excuses

A saying which states that one artist (a writer, painter, author, musician, etc.) should be allowed to only make art for himself and not for random people he doesn't know, but should keep in mind that it should not excuse him from making poor quality art.
As a writer, I only write for myself and not random strangers who read my novels, but that doesn't excuse me from writing good quality books. Every artist should know that good art has no excuses. Ever.
