I believe in their view women are needed to breed and remake a new world.I think this is interesting to watch play out because the women show their capabilities and ideas of what they think should be done. Moments of silence let’s people wonder what is going to happen next. I think the special effects really draw people in to watch the movie. The camera is able to purposely capture a quick almost instinct reaction, in some scenes. For example, like a turn of the camera. This allows people to be aware of each person's reaction. Because the film has a lot going on, if you miss something the reactions make up for it. I think that's what helps create good storytelling. The different personalities create fast, and slight comedic moments. Going back and forth between the calm and battle, makes it more realistic. For example when the bombs fired into the air. After this the camera slowly zones in on what is happening. I also like the color scheme in that scene. It adds to the characters emotions.I think one symbolism is the blue to represent two different things, to create distance.

This film definitely encompasses many different elements from all different genres of film. Immediately I was able to distinguish that this was an action film. What made this obvious was the sounds, music, setting, mood, and the main idea of the story. The biggest thing that solidified this being an action film was the anticipation and conflict. Along with this the stressful feeling that the film creates and expresses throughout the whole movie. Other elements that stood out to me were sci fi, and drama. This is shown as the film uses fiction and creative topics outside of what is humanly possible. The survivors are real and the scenery is real, but allowing other plot points such as a post apocalypse world, I think is considered sci-fi. The action comes into play when there's a goal to escape. I think good vs evil and each of the characters' communications and dynamics express the drama in this film. I think that's another genre added to create the complexity of what is being conveyed in the film.
