Contraction/auxiliary verb that describes a state of non-preferential bias in regards to an object or an activity. To be preferred over 'doesn't ' as it's a shorter contraction... and it sounds better. *can (and should often be) partnered with 'rather' (either before or after-see examples below)
"We could go, but I dasn't rather." *This example implies the same sentiment as 'I would prefer we didn't ' but does so in two words instead of five, and again, just sounds/reads more intelligently.
