This is for those of us who like to shop for clothes, for occasion specific clothes and who like to think about wearing those clothes to the occasion.

definition: buying clothes for an event far in advance of that event.

My friend is going on a cruise. She reports she bought a lovely linen skirt for the cruise.

When is the cruise? I ask.
