Type of Bicycle ridden by balancing on a small, hard piece of rubber known as a saddle. This type of bicycle causes several problems which include the following:
Wrist pain
Shoulder pain
Neck pain
Back pain
Saddle sores
The above problems are not present on a recumbent bicycle.

Also known as a Diamond-Frame (DF) bicycle, a UCI bike, an Upwrong or a wedgie bike.

upright reverse kanga 

Similar to the reverse kanga, the upright reverse kanga involves defecating in a toilet, preferably someone else's, in an elvated version of the reverse kanga postion. The defecator achieves this by:

1. facing the back wall of the toilet cubicle and placing their feet on top of the cistern lid
2. bracing themself against the ceiling with their hands; and
3. squatting and aiming for the bowl.

The upright reverse kanga is best performed with the seat up to maximise the target area.

Karlos: I've never seen the upright reverse kanga pulled off, but i'm pretty sure it's possible.

Upright Citizens Brigade 

Also known as "UCB." Improv comedy group/school in NYC. Had their own TV show for a while which kicked ass.

The UCB are responsible for such great things as Ass Pennies, The Poo Stick, The Hole in the Sheet, Captain Lunatic, Bong Boy, Thunderball, Supercool, The Bucket of Truth, and The Little Donny Foundation.

Their school has launched many a comedian onto an unsuspecting public, including Rob Corddry and Ed Helms of "The Daily Show."

upright bass 

Another term for a double bass, acoustic bass, or bass fiddle. It's the largest of the string instruments (resembling a giant violin) and lowest-sounding instrument found in an orchestra. Can be played with a bow or plucked with the fingers. The word "upright" means that it is to be played while standing up while holding the instrument upright, as opposed to how a bass guitar is held (on the lap or at a 45 degree angle). Also not to be confused with the cello, which is smaller and played while sitting down.

Paul Chambers and Ron Carter each played the upright bass at one time or another for Miles Davis.
