The smell of thrifted clothes/ thrift shops. A sickly sweet combination of any combination of the following: mothballs, mildew, B.O., and Lysol disinfectant spray. Hard to wash out completely.
"Take a sniff of that thrift whiff!"

When a person tells a cashier at a store that the item they are purchasing is cheaper at another store when really it is not. Usually the purchaser makes up a fake cheaper price as to save money and not spend too much. Usually done at Wal-Mart.
That woman over there is shop thrifting, what a cheap bitch.

1. A place where goods can be donated to be refurbished and sold. Usually benefits a non-profit organization. Saves landfill space, efficient, and overall benefits the community.
Hot dumb girl in expensive clothes: "Oh that's a nice shirt"

Me in stained thrift store garb: "They make me cooler than you."

Hot girl: "How so?"

Me: "I'm a moron."

Hot Girl: "Fo shizzle my nizzle"

A thing you pull from your own room and give away because you never use it and forgot to get a real gift.
"I forgot Tim's birthday ... I need to stop by my house and get a thrift gift real quick."

"I totally was thrift gifted this dirty Troll doll!"

Usually where items not sold at a garage/yard sale are donated.
While going through the newest donation at the thrift store, most of the items still had yard sale tickets. One of us decided they were yard sale rejects.
