Mary was distraught to learn that her husband had been killed by an onslaught of Germans. She was even more distraught to learn that before going to war he had left her a souvenir of a bastard unborn baby.

souvenir food

Commonly used for corn, or any other food including nuts that will show up in your poop the next day.

Giving you fond memories of the meal you ate the previous day. And sometimes even surprising you, when you were not aware that was one of the ingredients in that stew, soup, or casserole your mom made for you.

I better watch it when I take that second helping of souvenir food. I know it will come back to visit me tomorrow.
