Soft Comcyberite

Comcyberites who operate in a grey area, neither fully committing to criminal activity nor fully abandoning com culture. They are common on large servers (where they can blend in) and small servers (where they hold influence). Soft comcyberites may not doxx or swat themselves, but they enable others—sharing “leads,” amplifying harassment campaigns, or laughing at leaked personal info. They maintain plausible deniability (“I didn’t post the address, I just reacted to it”), while actively participating in the emotional economy of cruelty. They are the enablers, the bystanders who cheer, and often the most numerous members of com‑adjacent spaces.

Example: “He never sent a threat himself, but he was always in the channel when someone else did, posting laughing emojis—soft comcyberite, grey enough to avoid bans, dark enough to enjoy the damage.”
