Supposed New Age guru. Also so-called New Age guru.
Refers to someone in the New Age world who works the "enlightened" angle, setting him or herself up with guru status. They are then paid to lecture, write books, teach seminars, etc. in order to pass their often incredibly weak ideas on to the lowly masses.
