a fake whore- a girl that is a slut only in the rumors or lies spread about her

Usually these rumors are started by the girl in the stories, to make herself seem cool
It can, and most usually is, started by the guy that only got with a girl a little bit or not at all, and makes her sound like a whore to make himself look like a pimp

A piece of false, slanderous and/or mean-spirited story that somebody tells about someone else. These stories are usually told because the victim of the rumor is smarter, more popular, wealthier, more successful, harder working, or nicer than the person who is spreading the rumor.Said rumor spreader often spreads remors becuase he has become jealous and wants to hurt the person who he is spreading a rumor about.

After John Doe publicly embarrased Matt Snuffy by defeating him in the student government election, Matt tried to avenge his defeat by spreading a rumor that John Doe was a stalker.
