A Prac is a person who desperately wants to be depressed. He gets pissed at the slightest insult towards him and takes everything to heart. Nobody knows why, but he is always talking in a low tone, or an extremely high pitched tone. He tries to be realistic, but everybody knows what he is saying is just complete jibberish. For some reason, he goes on tangents where he makes up stories about majestic, and all powerful beings such as the pujji monkey, and the wingnut.
Person 1: Hey, you see that kid over there?

Person 2: Oh him? Hes prac. He acts depressed and gets pissed when people joke around with him.

Harty Prac

A philosophy of systems thinking centered around understanding how things truly work beneath the surface.

A Harty Prac rejects unnecessary complexity, blind trust, and "good enough" solutions. Whether working with software, networks, organizations, or machines, the goal is the same: identify the root cause, remove the noise, and build something predictable, reversible, and reliable.

The term is often associated with ethical hackers, engineers, and problem-solvers who value precision over appearance and understanding over assumption. When faced with a broken system, a Harty Prac does not ask how to patch it. They ask why it broke in the first place.
"Everyone was adding workarounds to the bug. She took the Harty Prac approach, found the root cause, and redesigned the system so the problem could never happen again."
