a pattopoof is anyone who is commonly referred to as patto and is known to have homo-sexual tendencies. once few and far between these elusive creatures are becoming increasingly more common in metropolitan areas.

barry: "hey steve see that bloke over there, something doesn't seem quite right about him."
steve: "nah don't worry about him mate, he's just a pattopoof."
