When someone is so stupid, and makes such dangerous life decisions they should have died. However they live on to make more bad choices.
This is a reference to those who accidentally kill themselves and are given the "darwin award" implying they died due to their lack of being evolved along with the remainder of the human race and their genes are being eliminated.

Gene Starwind and his partner Jim Hawking run a small business on the backwater planet of Sentinel III. But all that changes the day that "Hot Ice" Hilda hires them for a bodyguard job. The sole greatest anime on the face of the planet, it has all the elements of the perfect show: action, mystery, love, violence, death, pirates, ninjas, assassins, naked chicks, aliens, space travel, dueling spaceships, and that one episode where everybody goes to the hot spring for seemingly no reason.
There's also a spin-off series called Angel Links, but it pales in comparison.
