When - in politics - a member of the minority party suggests an idea that is ignored, but a little down the road a member of the reigning party brings up the same thing and it gets approved instantly.
Do you remember the voting about that reasonable bill being struck down two years ago? -- Yes, however it got approved last week by the leading majority as an old idea of Heinz Rolfes!
