Used by the russians In the russin launge like many other they name their "things" such as a car, t.v, telephone, fan, shovels tractors, any non living object by gender to prenouce the adjitive right and to make it sound good. A state in russin is feminine(Girl) hence the word Mother Russia if it was masculent(Boy) then it would have been Father Russia. No one knows why it's feminie but has been used that way for hundereds of years.

Mother Russia Date 

When a date is proposed backwards. The man will ask the woman for a sexual favor, ranging on what the favor is, the woman will then tell the man what he has to do. The date then starts with the sexual favor, then moves on to what the woman asked to do (i.e. go to a movie, take her shopping, go out to dinner, etc.).
