A Japanese SNS website. Sorta like a Japanese version of myspace or facebook. One can only become a user via invitation from another mixi user.

It has been a problem where certain jocks will post about how bad they were, such as stealing motorcycles, which will then attract hundreds of angry users and start up a flame war. This will eventually lead to the exposure of the user, giving out his real name and his past crime to his school/employer, which is equal to a death sentence in Japan.

Dude, could you invite me to mixi?

A word associated with incompetance within the workplace. Also a derogatory term for an individual who is notorious for losing things. Unsurprisingly, has gained common usage in relation to the Post Office.

Blue Mixing 

In the music industry, when the "sound guy" makes an opening band sound bad (by poorly mixing them) to make the headlining band sound better.

The practice is mentioned in Five Iron Frenzy's song "Blue Mix" from the album "Electric Boogaloo." Lead singer Reese Roper disclosed the song's meaning in the November/December 2001 issue of HM (Hard Music) Magazine.

Mixish language

lí Míxíshá lángíúáíóá or The Mixish language is a forgotten Gaelic language spoken by mixed race peoples from the early BC Era and until the late 19th when people force them to just learn English, and a big part of the mixed race heritage therefore was Lost, but in 2010 the language was found to be spoken by 1500 thousand peoples but only 500 peoples can speak Mixish fluently, one quote a man said in the early 1800s about the language is that we can teach it to the new generation and bring the our heritage and language back.

Friend Mixing 

The act of intergroup mixing of friends from different circles. While initially it may be regarded as a positive, the act is more often than not, a complete negative. The act of mixing friends is the number one cause of "blowing up" someone's spot. It exposes you in ways that you thought you had yourself protected in. Friend mixing is a dangerous act if not done with complete care and caution. On average, only 1 of every 1000 friend mixes can be regarded as a positive.
