mira day

A mira day is a very special day that people don’t come across to often, but when they do, they hold these types of days very close to their heart.

Mira is like a day where nothing too significant happens and time comfortably flows from day to night. During these days, one starts to appreciate the small things in life. You start noticing how great air feels, how nice grass smells, how beautiful seas sound. Whenever you don’t have anything to worry about during a day, and just let time pass in front of your eyes, let the day take you away, you feel amazing. You feel as if you want to stay in such a day forever, because such days as mira days are pure comfort.

No one ever wants a mira day to end, and no one wants to let mira go, especially myself.
“What is your most ideal type of day?”

“My ideal day would be a mira day. I love them so much, cherish them with all my heart

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
